Victorian Porch Post — 6×6

Decorative porch posts add a nice touch for curb appeal to your front porch or deck. They are load bearing posts. Cedar is a clear, kiln dried, solid product. Redwood and Hemlock are both a clear, kiln dried, finger joint, laminated product. Treated is a knotty, air dried after treatment, solid product. It is recommended to seal them prior to installation. Since they are kiln dried, there is no reason to wait. We do recommend a stain blocker primer to keep the natural tenons from bleeding through.
