Actual size of Cedar, Redwood and Treated are 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″. Actual size of Hemlock is 2 3/8″ x 2 3/8″. Cedar and Redwood are a clear, kiln dried, finger joint laminated product. Treated is a knotty grade product. Hemlock is a clear, kiln dried, solid product. All balusters are cut to 1/4″ less than listed length unless requested otherwise. We recommend that you seal prior to installion. If painting, prime with a stain blocker primer.
