Actual width may vary between 3 13/32″ and 3 1/2″ on Cedar, Redwood and Treated. Hemlock would be 3 3/8″. Mahogany would be 3 1/2″. Cedar is a clear, solid, dry product. Treated is a knotty, air dried after treatement product. Redwood and Hemlock are a clear, kiln dried, finger joint laminated product. Mahogany could be solid or laminated as it depends on what we have in stock. We recommend that you seal prior to installion. If painting, prime with a stain blocker primer.
